FEB Unila Encourages Students to Go Global through the Sabancı University PURE Summer Research Program 2026 Sharing Session

FEB Unila - The Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Lampung (FEB Unila) organized a sharing session on the Sabancı University PURE Summer Research Program 2026 on Friday, April 17, 2026, held online via Zoom Meeting. The event was attended by FEB Unila students, the Vice Dean I for Academic Affairs and Cooperation, Ernie Hendrawaty, as well as the FEB Unila International Office team, as part of efforts to encourage student participation in international programs. The session featured Arif Darmawan as the speaker, a lecturer at FEB Unila who is currently pursuing his doctoral studies at the Department of Economics, Social Sciences, University of Ankara. In his presentation, he provided a comprehensive explanation of the Program for Undergraduate Research (PURE), organized by Sabancı University in collaboration with the Türkiye Scholarships. The PURE program is a summer research program lasting approximately seven weeks, offering undergraduate students the opportunity to be directly involved in research activities within an international academic environment. The program is open to outstanding students from various countries and is part of the Türkiye Scholarships scheme, which supports global academic exchange and strengthens international educational cooperation. During the session, the speaker also explained that participants would have the opportunity to gain international research experience, receive direct mentorship from global academics, and enhance both their academic capacity and international networks. In addition, the selection process is based on academic achievements, supporting documents such as CVs, transcripts, and motivation letters, as well as students’ readiness to participate in an English-language program. The session was highly interactive, with strong enthusiasm from students who actively explored information regarding the registration process, requirements, and experiences of studying and conducting research abroad. In her remarks, Vice Dean I of FEB Unila, Ernie Hendrawaty, stated that this activity is a strategic step in strengthening the faculty’s internationalization. “Through this activity, we hope that FEB Unila students will become more motivated to participate in international programs and enhance their competitiveness at the global level, particularly in the fields of academics and research,” she said. Through this sharing session, FEB Unila reaffirmed its commitment to expanding access to global information, strengthening international networks, and encouraging students to become adaptive, competitive, and globally-minded graduates in line with the demands of today’s higher education landscape. Exploring Russian Culture: NWIM RANEPA Students Share Insights at TGCL’s Russian Day

FEB Unila — The Russian Day event held at TGCL was successfully conducted, featuring two students from Russia as the main speakers. This event served as a platform for cultural exchange and knowledge sharing, attracting enthusiastic participation. The invited speakers, Khokhlova Anastasiia and Shchekaturova Viktoriia, are students from NWIM RANEPA. During the session, they shared valuable insights into Russian culture, daily life, and the education system in their home country. The event began with an opening session, followed by an introduction of the two Russian students to the audience. The program continued with presentations delivered by the speakers, highlighting various interesting aspects of Russia. An interactive Q&A session then allowed participants to engage directly and gain deeper understanding. Participants showed great enthusiasm throughout the event, particularly during the discussion session. The program concluded with a closing session and a group photo as a form of documentation and remembrance. FEB Unila Sends Off Students for International Student Mobility Program to UiTM Sabah, Malaysia

FEB Unila – The Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Lampung (FEB Unila), held the official send-off ceremony for students participating in the International Student Mobility Program to Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Cawangan Sabah, Malaysia, on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. The event was conducted online via Zoom Meeting and attended by the participating students as well as their parents. The send-off was officially led by the Vice Rector I of the University of Lampung, Prof. Dr. Eng. Suripto Dwi Yuwono, S.Si., M.T. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of student participation in international programs as part of efforts to strengthen academic quality, develop global competencies, and enhance the international competitiveness of University of Lampung graduates. On the same occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Lampung, Prof. Dr. Nairobi, S.E., M.Si., expressed his appreciation and pride in the students selected to take part in the program. He advised the students to serve as ambassadors of the faculty, the university, and Indonesia by consistently upholding the institution’s good name and demonstrating strong ethics, integrity, discipline, and professionalism throughout their academic activities at UiTM Sabah. The International Student Mobility Program of FEB Unila is part of the implementation of academic cooperation between the University of Lampung and Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), Malaysia. The program has been running since October 2025 through an online learning scheme and will continue with on-site learning activities at UiTM Cawangan Sabah from January to February 2026. The participating students are scheduled to depart for Malaysia on January 2, 2026, and return to Indonesia at the end of February 2026. During the program, students will gain first-hand international academic experience in the partner university’s academic environment. Through this program, FEB Unila students are expected to broaden their global perspectives, enhance their academic competencies and soft skills, and build international networks. This send-off ceremony also reflects FEB Unila’s commitment to supporting the internationalization of higher education and producing globally competitive human resources (Magang_Nissa Nabila).
